A tail notch is a special feature designed to help properly fit breeds with upright tails.  We offer tail notches in the following sizes only:

T - toy and terrier breeds

XXXS - basenji

M - weimaraner

What is a tail notch?

With tail notch --

This size XXXS coat with a tail notch allows the coat to end right at the top of the tail and lie flat across the basenji back.

Regular coat (without tail notch) --

This size M coat shows how our regular style coats fit. Depending on the length of the dog's back, the coat will end at the tail or extend a bit beyond.
